Lent Out - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Lent Out by Tristonia (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles your information when you use our mobile application.

Last Updated: 24th of October 2026

Lent Out has no account, no server of its own and no internet access. What you lend, who you lend it to and the photos you add never leave your phone.

1. About Lent Out

Lent Out keeps a list of the things you have lent to other people, with a photo of each item, the person who has it and an optional reminder to ask for it back. It is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. There is no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code in the app that sends information anywhere. The app does not ask for the internet permission, so it cannot send data off your phone.

3. Photos

When you add a photo of an item or a person, Lent Out asks Android to open your camera app or the Android photo picker. Lent Out only receives the one picture you choose. It does not get access to the rest of your photos and does not need a camera or storage permission. A reduced-size copy of the picture is kept in the app’s own storage on your device and is deleted when you delete the entry or remove the photo.

4. Notifications

If you set a reminder, Lent Out schedules a notification on your device for that day. On newer versions of Android it asks your permission first. Reminders are created and shown entirely on your phone. If you decline, the app still works and shows what is due when you open it.

5. Data Storage

Your entries, people, notes, photos and reminders are stored on your device. If you have Android backup turned on, Android may include them in your device backup to your own Google account, so they come back on a new phone. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on the device.

6. Permissions

7. Data Sharing

We don’t share or sell data, because we don’t collect any.

8. Children’s Privacy

Lent Out is rated for a general audience (Everyone) and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
